18/09/2011 - Baggage area

I managed to finish the tail end of the cable trunking by using one of the tooling holes in the the first tail area bulkhead.

The baggage floors and side panels had already been painted, this area I had decided to be in a grey and once again a texture finish.  I wanted to the paint in this area as tough as possible.

I had not dimpled the floors either and was extremely pleased that the paint did not mark even when dimpled.  I want to have inspection first so I will be riveting them much later on.

Baggage bulk head is fun to cut, its not that easy to get the right line, but I think we got there in the end.  It then took about 1hr to find the wear block as picture in the second picture sigh.  Found them in the end and I started the process of getting them fitted.

Thought I would just show that the cabin frame will also be in the same textured grey.  The baggage partition still covered in blue in the picture will also be grey.  The colour goes well with the textured black I am using for the seat areas.
